He has always been a researcher in Theories of Politics in International Affairs, Development Policy, and Fiscal Governance, with several peer-reviewed publications (Books, Journals, Papers, Articles) accredited to him.

He has attended both local and international conferences, workshops, and seminars, where in most cases he has been invited as a guest speaker and lead paper presenter. He is a contributor to academic seminars and curriculum development initiatives within the humanities. Fr. Gerald teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Political Science, International Relations, and Diplomacy.
